\n<\/strong>Despite a high level of global excitement about generative AI, some organizations are experiencing difficulty with creating and demonstrating economic value from the technology. In this presentation Tom Davenport will describe several important capabilities that organizations must have in place to succeed with generative AI. They address experimental, behavioral, strategic, data and knowledge management, and other disciplines that help generative AI live up to its potential. Davenport will also describe early and aggressive adopters of generative AI that employed these capabilities to make their implementations successful.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/strong><\/span>Tom Davenport is the Bodily Bicentennial Professor of Analytics at the UVA Darden School of Business, Distinguished Professor of Information Technology and Management at Babson College, Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management, and Senior Advisor to Deloitte\u2019s Chief Data and Analytics Program. He\u2019s published 24 books and over 300 articles for Harvard Business Review and many other publications. He has been named among the world\u2019s Top 25 Consultants, the top 3 business\/technology analysts, the 100 most influential people in the IT industry, and the top fifty business school professors in the world.
